Cops in Michigan really put the term "To protect and serve" in really good use.
In Michigan, This new bakery that opened wensday is not only protecting the neighborhood, these cops are also serving. This bakery is runned by 9 people whom are all cops that are there to protect, and serve. Serve you doughnuts that is. This little shop ran by the 9 owners of the Clare Police Department sells things such as muffins, cookies, brownies, bread, and of coarse doughnuts.
They also have their own shirts that has very catchy catch phrases such as "Cops & Doughnuts: 100 Percent Cop owned" and "Handcuffs and Cream Puffs" and my favorite, "You have the right to remain glazed"
The officers are all planning to throw in the towel on this 113 year old bakery, this bakery is 6th "empty" store in the town. The cops are planning to give up the bakery and hire someone to manage it, and students in the neighborhood.
Ex - NFL QB Steve "Air" McNair gunned down.
Steve McNair, was a star QB of the Tennessee Titans and also the Baltimore Ravens. Steve McNair was found dead along side his friend, who was a 20 year old woman. They were both shot to death inside the star QB's home.
Steve McNair was shot multiple times, including one shot to the head. His friend, Sahel Kazemi was very close to him on the floor, was killed with one shot to the head. Authorities didn’t immediately say who was to blame for the killings, but they weren’t looking for any suspects. They are also saying they are not going to release any information and that Sahel is just a "Friend"
My guess is that, Steve McNair was cheating on his wife with Sahel. She found out about Steve's wife, so she kills him, then shoots herself. I want to wish them both to R.I.P.
A religious battle on T.V.
A turkish T.V. show are planning on putting A christian priest, a rabbi, a buddist mokn, a mulim imam, and 10 atheists in the same room. The prize for converts will be a pilgrimage to a holy site of their chosen religion Mecca for Muslims, the Vatican for Christians, Jerusalem for Jews and Tibet for Buddhists. Nothing for atheists?!
But religious authorities in Muslim but secular Turkey are not amused by the twist on the popular reality game show format and the Religious Affairs Directorate is refusing to provide an imam for the show. "Doing something like this for the sake of ratings is disrespectful to all religions. Religion should not be a subject for entertainment programs." High Board of Religious Affairs Chairman Hamza Aktan told state news.
More then 200 people have so far applied to take part in the show and the 10 contestants will be chosen next month. A team of theologians will ensure that the atheists are truly non-believers and are not just seeking fame.
I agree to Hamza Aktan, religion should not be touched. Everyone is different and we all are who we are. This show shouldn't be put on air, it is as though they want to see a major fight just for ratings, but in my opinion. That is evil.
